Portal WABetaInfo, almost daily tellingabout innovations in beta versions of WhatsApp, discovered a curious feature in the latest release for iOS. Messenger finally introduces the function of restoring messages that you deleted by mistake.
A few days ago WABetaInfo talked abouta similar option in WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.18.13. Messenger is testing the ability to recover messages that were accidentally deleted, for example when you click on "delete for me" instead of "delete for everyone."

You can test the feature if you update WhatsApp to beta version 22.18.0.70 available on TestFlight. If it is not visible, then you are not yet included in the list of users participating in the test.
