Vivo X Fold S: first details about the flagship foldable smartphone

In April 2022, Vivo introduced the Vivo X Fold foldable smartphone, and it became the brand's first model in such a

form factor.Now the company is working on its successor, the Vivo X Fold S. The first details about the device came from a leak on the Chinese social network Weibo. According to these data, Vivo X Fold S will receive the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 flagship chipset, an under-screen ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The rest of the specifications are expected to be at the level of the base model Vivo X Fold. Recall that this smartphone is equipped with an 8.03-inch foldable display (LTPO AMOLED, resolution 1916 x 2160 pixels, 120 Hz), a 6.53-inch external display, a quad camera with a 50 MP main sensor with OIS and a 4600 mAh battery.

Note that the market for foldable devices is developing quite rapidly, and, according to Counterpoint forecasts, 73% more such smartphones will be sold in 2022 than a year earlier.
