Toyota bZ4X BEV SUV concept announced with a wheel like Tesla (4 photos + 2 videos)


Toyota continues to implement a project todeveloping zero-emission electrified battery vehicles. At the Shanghai Auto Show, the auto giant unveiled the new Toyota bZ4X concept, the first in a global battery-powered EV series to be branded Toyota bZ (Beyond Zero). The elegant SUV Toyota bZ4X BEV will be equipped with all-wheel drive.

Toyota bZ4X SUV concept developed byjointly with Subaru, created on the new e-TNGA BEV platform. The novelty combines Toyota's high quality, durability and reliability (QDR) with Subaru's all-wheel drive functionality.


Have not been to Auto Shanghai eventsdetailed technical parameters of the Toyota bZ4X concept model have been decoded. However, it can be concluded from the video advertising that the car will receive an electronic control system with a digital driver's panel, a central display with a large diagonal, and a steering wheel instead of a steering wheel (perhaps this will be an additional service).


Toyota plans to produce Toyota bZ4Xin Japan and China. This model should go on sale by mid-2022. In total, Toyota plans to produce fifteen battery-powered vehicles of the BEV class; seven models will be produced under the Toyota bZ brand.
