As the Christmas holidays draw near2020, which is scheduled to enter the market of two competing consoles from Microsoft and Sony, the tension between future bestsellers will increase. This week, Microsoft has already published additional information about the technical characteristics of the Xbox Series X, and today Sony will present its own PlayStation 5 console.
Sony's official introduction of the console earlierplanned at the Game Developers Conference (GDC 2020), which was canceled due to the COVID-19 epidemic. On Twitter, it was announced that the presentation will be held by chief system architect Mark Zerny, who will talk about innovations in consoles, changes in the PS5 system architecture and the impact of the console on the prospects of the entire gaming industry.
The event will take place at 19:00 Moscow time on March 18 and will be held online on the official PlayStation blog. The content of the presentation is still known in general terms, Sony has not yet disclosed more specific information.
