TikTok hit the hardest by restrictions imposed in Russia

The ban on social media in Russia has hit some platforms hard. So, according to Insider Intelligence,

TikTok lost 22.9% of active users and decreased to 19.39 million monthly users, although earlier it was predicted a monthly increase of 7% and 26.45 million active users by the end of this year. Although the service has not been completely banned in Russia, it has suspended video uploads and live streams from the country. All this had a negative impact on attendance. At the same time, the use of TikTok in the world continues to grow rapidly and, according to forecasts, will grow by 17.4%, which will allow TikTok to receive 813.72 million active users at the end of the year. Losses in the Russian market, according to analysts, will be easily offset by growth in the rest of the world.
