The Snapdragon SiP1 chipset is presented in two ASUS smartphones: Zenfone Max Plus M2 and Max Shot

A couple of new ASUS smartphones, the ASUS Zenfone Max Shot and ASUS Zenfone Max Plus M2 models, appeared on the Brazilian market. For some reason, both are number ZB634KL.

Devices are middling identical in design andsimilar to the specifications. The difference is quite small: ASUS Zenfone Max Plus M2 has 3 GB of RAM, a 32 GB drive and a dual main camera, and a more solid ZenFone Max Shot - 4 GB + 64 GB and a triple camera.

Much more in common. These are the only two smartphones in the world built on the Snapdragon SiP1 chipset. This is the result of a joint venture organized by Qualcomm and the Shanghai-based Universal Scientific Industrial Co., Ltd., for which a factory was built in Brazil. It is logical that smartphones also appeared in this country.

ASUS Zenfone Max Plus M2

The TTX of the Snapdragon SiP1 chipset is not all known. This is a 14-nanometer process technology, 8 cores with a frequency of 1.8 GHz, video Adreno 506, support for LTE Cat.7. In the Qualcomm portfolio, two chipsets are suitable for this description: Snapdragon 632 and Snapdragon 450. It seems like Snapdragon SiP1 is a version of the 450th, but this is not officially confirmed.

In any case, both devices are smartphones.relative to the middle class, without any special claims for outstanding performance. Just not bad. Screen 6.26 ″ with an obsolete cut-out shape, resolution 1080 × 2280 pixels. Not the newest operating system - Android Oreo. But the battery is not bad, 4000 mAh, promised two days of work without recharging.

ASUS Zenfone Max Plus M2 has 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage capacity. There is a separate slot for an additional memory card. Sim card slots two, both nano.

The main camera combines a Sony IMX486 12 megapixel module with an f / 1.8 aperture and an additional 5 megapixel one. Front camera 8 megapixel.

The price is 1299 Brazilian Reais ($ 340 / 22120₽).
