The second quarter of this year will see an increase in demand for laptops

According to the research company TrendForce, in the second quarter of this year, there will be an increase in demand for

laptops, it could be 11% compared toprevious quarter. It is expected that 37.6 million notebooks will be sold, but this volume will still be worse than the results of the second quarter of last year, when sales were 18% higher than the current forecast. Weak sales results in the notebook segment are negatively impacted by weak consumer demand and lower purchases in the corporate segment, which is due to a sluggish economic situation and reduced spending by companies to modernize their computer fleet. Overstocking of both finished goods and components is forecast to ease in the second quarter, which could help the market recover.
