The Second Coming of OPPO Reno: Reno 2, 2 F and 2 Z

OPPO introduced a new generationsmartphone family Reno. As in the first, it has three smartphones, but Reno 2 looks and the company is already slightly different. To begin with, all three have four cameras on the rear panel.

This is the only one in the second generationinherited the characteristic oblique camera lifting module. On this legacy is exhausted, except for such a decorative ceramic tubercle on the rear panel. The periscope camera, which provided 10x optical zoom of the OPPO Reno 10x Zoom model, is not observed here.

But there are four cameras. The leading 48MP Sony IMX586 module with f / 1.7 aperture and optical stabilization system plus 8 MP wide-angle 116 °, plus 13 MP telephoto, plus 2 MP camera for portraits. Thanks to the difference in focal lengths, you can get a 5x hybrid zoom. And 20x digital, but it's not that interesting.

The front camera is 16 megapixel.

The smartphone is built on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G chipset - completely fresh, quite powerful. RAM capacity is 8 GB. The capacity of the built-in flash memory is 256 GB. Expandable.

AMOLED screen, 6.5 ″ with a resolution of 1080 × 2340, occupies 93.1% percent of the front panel. The fingerprint scanner is built into the screen. Exactly the same screens are on two other smartphones of this generation - OPPO Reno2 Z and OPPO Reno2 F.

Equal and batteries - 4000 mAh each with support for fast charging VOOC 3.0 20 watts.

OPPO Reno 2 supports NFC, which cannot be said of the two younger models.

OPPO Reno2 Z and OPPO Reno2 F are very similar. Both received a retractable front camera more traditional than the OPPO Reno 2 design - a small rectangular module. With some attention span, they can be distinguished by the appearance of the rear panel. But of course, the color is simpler: OPPO Reno2 Z is presented in blue and white, OPPO Reno2 F is presented in white and green.

Smartphones differ in chipsets. OPPO Reno2 Z as the older one is built on MediaTek Helio P90, for OPPO Reno2 F MediaTek Helio P70 is used. The RAM capacity in both cases is 8 GB. The drive is 256 or 128 GB for OPPO Reno2 Z and only 128 GB for OPPO Reno2 F.

Another not so noticeable, but significantThe difference is the main camera. It has a resolution of 48 MP for both, but only for OPPO Reno2 Z is the Sony IMX586 module with an aperture of f / 1.7. OPPO Reno2 F obviously has another 48-megapixel sensor, it has smaller physical dimensions - 1 / 2.25 ″ versus 1/2 ″, and the optics are also different - the f / 1.79 aperture rather than f / 1.7.

Three other cameras are the same for both models. This is an 8 MP wide-angle with a shooting angle of 119 ° and two 2-megapixel cameras specifically for portrait mode, one of them is monochrome. There is no optical stabilization, only EIS. We also decided to do without a 13-megapixel telephoto camera.

There is no NFC support.

For pre-order at the momentonly one of the models is available. OPPO Reno2 Z in a modification with 256 GB of storage is presented in India and will come out with a price of 29990 Indian rupees (27900 rubles). OPPO Reno2 will appear on the Indian market a little later - from September 20. The model will cost 36,990 rupees (34,400 rubles).
