MicroSure MUSA Robotic System(MicroSure, Eindhoven, The Netherlands) A small-sized installation that can be mounted on the operating table with a microscope, providing easy integration in the operating room with minimal changes in theater and organizational planning. Currently, the MUSA system has been tested in 20 women with breast cancer. The device showed excellent results when connecting vessels with a diameter of 0.3 to 0.8 mm.
Quality assessment carried out using a robotoperations were performed after several months, analyzing the result of healing and restoration of the connected vessels. Doctors were satisfied with the test results and confirmed that the work was performed at the level of professional surgeons. The only drawback of the MUSA robotic system was the operation time, which amounted to 115 minutes, while a professional surgeon performs this task in 81 minutes.
