The new Russian space robot "Test" will fly to the ISS, the Moon and Mars

Not entirely successful space travelFedor’s humanoid robot inspired Russian inventors to create a new model of the Teledroid series robot, capable of working not only at a space station, but also in open space. Assembly work of the first samples will begin next year.

Until the end of 2019, designers promisecomplete the preparation of the documentation necessary to launch the assembly of test samples of new robots. The final version, according to the assurance of developers from the NGO Android Technology, should be ready by 2022.
Currently, the "appearance" and designthe future younger brother of Fedor has not yet been determined, the design of the project will also be completed by early 2020. Currently, design engineers are “stitching” the internal components of the Teledroid series robot. To work in the orbit of the new series of devices, an additional energy and universal nodal module will be delivered to the ISS. The child of the Teledroid project will be moved using the ERA (European Robotic Arm) manipulator.

However, this is the plan of Russian inventors tospace research robots do not end there. By 2022, the "Test" robot will be ready, capable of independently controlling a spaceship. Previously, the project was called “Federation”.

Next year on a spaceship"Eagle" new "Test" will conduct two test flights. The first unmanned Orla flight is scheduled for 2023 from the new Vostochny spaceport. The first flight will take place without docking with the ISS, but during the second test in 2024, the “Test” will dock the “Eagle” with the ISS.

The first manned flights on the new ship "Eagle" will be held in 2025. The developers of the "Tester" announced their intention to use the robot in further flights to the moon and Mars.
