Apple today introduced a new generation of iPadPro in 11-inch and 12.9-inch versions. The tablets are equipped with the latest M2 Apple Silicon chip. This processor debuted in the 2022 MacBook Air and 2022 13-inch MacBook Pro.

Apple claims that the 8-core M2 processor is 15% faster than the M1 processor. Up to 35% increase for GPU. The M2 chip also allows the tablet to record videos in ProPres quality.

The iPad Pro has improved not onlyperformance. It can also now detect when the Apple Pencil is hovering over the display. User interface elements can expand and respond when the user brings the stylus closer to the screen.

The new iPad Pro also provides faster Wi-Fi connectivity with support for the latest Wi-Fi 6E standards.

Pre-orders start today, and sales start on October 26th. The minimum price of the younger model is $799, while the older one starts at $1,099.
