The most powerful supercomputer can be seen on a virtual tour

From now on, any user with access toInternet, can take a one-click virtual journey to the Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC), located in Austin.

The virtual tour includes a visit to oneof the world's most powerful computing centers. Visitors will be able to view the supercomputers Stampede2 with a performance of 10.7 petaflops and Frontera with 23.5 petaflops. Both computers powered by Intel Xeon processors are included in the Top500 supercomputers in the world: Frontera is in 9th place, and Stampede2 is in 25th.

During the tour, visitors "examine" server cabinets, equipment racks and get acquainted with open information about the structure and capabilities of TACC.
