The largest 3D printer was created in Russia

F2 Innovations has developed a 3D printer with the largest printable area. It can create parts up to four meters long, two meters wide and a meter high.

The printer is reported to be 90% made up ofRussian components. This is the first large-sized Russian 3D printer. It is an open portal with an extruder (printing element). The printer prints with polymer granules, including recycled materials, and its productivity is up to 10 kg/h.

The new printer will enable businessesaerospace industry to create large-sized polymer parts quickly and cheaply. In particular, it is possible to print equipment for laying out composite aircraft wings.
