The latest PlayStation 5 was released only at the end of 2020. But now experts are actively working on the creation of a console emulator.

So, a few months ago the RussianThe developer InoriRus presented an early version of its own PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 emulator. The project is called Kyty and has been able to run a number of commercial games with 2D graphics from the very beginning.

Now the author has shown what the version is capable of.Kyty is numbered 0.2.0. In the video published by the developer, you can see how the emulator runs a number of PlayStation 5 SDK samples at 720p resolution and a frame rate of 59-60 fps.

In addition, InoriRus has shown that its software can run the adventure platformer Blackhole at 5-15 fps, while the turn-based strategy game Worms W.M.D. - at 14-16 fps.

Note that testing takes place on a computer based on Intel Core i7-7400 with an NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti graphics card. Thus, more powerful PCs, in theory, will be able to show much more interesting results.
