Well-known businessman Elon Musk announced on Twitter that Tesla's humanoid robot Optimus will
“Tesla AI Day has been rescheduled to September 30th as we will have a working Optimus prototype by then.”
The idea of creating such a robot was voicedMusk in August 2021. According to the plans of the developers, the size of Optimus will resemble a person. He will be able to perform many everyday tasks, such as shopping or lifting loads weighing up to 20 kg. The same AI systems as in Tesla cars will be responsible for the correct functioning of the robot.
