Tesla learned to bleat like a goat and make other original sounds (video)

One of the features of electric vehicles isalmost complete absence of engine noise during operation. As a result, the safety of the people around the car is reduced. The US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has obliged to install external speakers on cars before September 1, 2020. However, Tesla complied with the regulator's decision a year earlier, and already in 2019, electric vehicles began to come out with sound equipment that complies with the Law.

In January 2020, Elon Musk promised that inIn the future, Tesla will be able to "talk" with pedestrians or even vandals. This will be addressed with Tesla Software's New Year 2020.48.26 holiday update, introducing the Boombox feature, providing another unique entertainment feature for Tesla owners.

Boombox function is the original methodimplementation of the pedestrian warning system, which is required by NHTSA for all electric vehicles. Now Tesla owners will be able to scare away animals, warn pedestrians and simply have fun by transmitting various sounds through external speakers.

Tesla's sound range is wide enough frombleating of goats to applause, from solemn fanfare to a unique "emission control mode" that imitates the sounds made by a person with increased gas production, flatulence. The ability to change the sound of the Tesla alarm beep to any five custom melodies is also available.
