Tele2 abandoned plans to significantly increase the subscription fee for the "Unlimited" tariff

Earlier, we reported that the Tele2 operator plans to increase the cost of the Unlimited tariff plan by almost 70%:

instead of the current 450 rubles per month for subscribersI would have to pay 750 rubles (depending on the region). The Ministry of Digital Development of Russia managed to respond to this initiative, after which the operator's management decided to abandon plans for a significant increase in the monthly fee. The TASS news agency cites an excerpt from a statement by representatives of the ministry:

“The Ministry of Digital Transformation reacted to the issues that appeared the day beforereports of a 1.5 times increase in the cost of unlimited Tele2 tariffs and discussed this situation with the operator. The operator revised the terms of the changes and, when forming new parameters, is guided by the recommendations of the Ministry of Digital Development and the Federal Antimonopoly Service. The new price of unlimited tariffs will be revised to the current consumer price index - by no more than 50 rubles.
