Sony develops IMX800 inch photo sensor for smartphones

The novelty will be received by models under the brand name Huawei P50,Huawei P50 Pro and Huawei P50 Pro +. At the same time, the insider, without any technical details, noted that the main camera of the base model Huawei P50 will receive three main camera sensors: main, ultra-wide-angle and telephoto lens. The average model Huawei P50 Pro will receive a periscope camera instead of a telephoto lens. For the flagship of the top line Huawei P50 Pro +, a main camera layout will be provided with a main sensor, an ultra-wide angle, a telephoto lens, an overscope and a ToF sensor.

It is expected that the Japanese Sony will show the IMX800 in April, which means that the Chinese company Huawei will bring the P50 series to the market no earlier than April 2021.
