Snapdragon 215 - a new chipset for the youngest

Qualcomm has introduced a new thing in a long time not receiving such a line of chipsets - in two hundred, the one that is focused on mobile devices of the most modest, ultra-budget level.

The novelty is called Snapdragon 215. This is the first among the two hundredths 64-bit chipset, the first owner of a dual ISP, which allows the use of cameras with optical zooming due to the difference in focal lengths in the double photomodule and provides a bokeh effect. The first with Qualcomm Hexagon DSP - provides low power consumption when playing audio (up to 5+ days).

The chipset has 4 cores Cortex-A53 1 each.3 GHz and GPU Adreno 308. Can work with a 13-megapixel camera or with two 8-megapixel. Supports NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi (802.11ac) and Bluetooth 4.2. Fast charging also supports, however, the old standard - Quick Charge 1.0 (maximum 10W).

Snapdragon 215 is designed for smartphones with a price of less than $ 100.
