Chinese customs authorities have detained a woman who tried to smuggle 202 Intel processors and nine iPhones in a fake stomach.
The incident took place at Gongbei Port in Zhuhai.The "pregnant" woman tried to return to mainland China from Macau. She claimed to be in her fifth month of pregnancy, but her belly was too large for such a period, and the woman walked without visible effort. All this aroused a lot of suspicion.
After a thorough examination, the customs officers found,that the perpetrator used duct tape to secure and hide the smuggled goods under a fake silicone belly. They seized 202 12th generation Intel Alder Lake processors, as well as nine iPhones.
