Smartphone can replace some documents

The Ministry of Digital Development expects that the smartphone should replace some of the documents citizens need in everyday life,

for example, when buying alcohol, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the head of the ministry, Maksut Shadayev, who took part in a briefing on the results of the Digital Economy national program for 2022.

“The angle that the smartphone, which is in the handsperson, should replace some of the documents that people are now forced to wear additionally. All in one device, in one application. It is clear that we are talking about some everyday situations, but everyday situations are just the most frequent cases. Our task is to make it possible to show a smartphone when buying alcohol or when entering a business center,” Shadayev said.
