Sharp AQUOS V - a new smartphone on the old hardware

The Sharp AQUOS V model, which was introduced inearly September at the IFA-2019 exhibition in Berlin and promised to the European market, went on sale. So far, however, far from Europe - in the Taiwan market. Here, the smartphone will be offered for 6990 TWD ($ 230).

European price tag, announced in September, about the same - 229 euros. The smartphone was supposed to go on sale in October. I want to believe that this is nothing more than a slight delay and the device will appear. It’s painfully curious.

Sharp AQUOS V released in the second half of 2019of the year is very similar to the flagship model of the year of 2017. The smartphone is built on the top-end, but outdated Snapdragon 835 chipset, has 4 GB of RAM and a 64-gigabyte drive expandable with microSD cards. The screen without a cutout, the forehead and chin are moderate, but there is. Diagonal 5.93 ″, IPS panel, FHD + resolution with a traditional 18: 9 ratio.

A moderate number of cameras - the main one is onlydual, both 13 MP modules - one RGB, the second monochrome. Such a combination, as well as such a low resolution, has already gone out of fashion. But there is an optical stabilization system. Front camera 8 MP.

The battery is tolerable - 3090 mAh. The fingerprint scanner is (behind). There is no NFC support.

On board a modern operating system - Android 9.0 Pie.
