Seven Google Safety Rules

On Data Protection Day, celebrated annually on January 28 in nearly 50 leading countries of the world economy, the corporation distributed seven basic rules necessary to keep the data stored on the Internet safe.

First tip. Keep passwords in a safe place.
The password manager built into Google services doesn’tit only saves passwords, but also allows you to check them, identify unreliable or often repeated when working with various Internet resources, which significantly reduces their reliability.

Second tip. Let Google automatically delete your data.
In all Google services, you can configure the serviceautomatic deletion of information about the location of the account owner, data on its activity. The user himself sets the frequency of cleaning such data (every 3 or 18 months), or manually delete data for a specific date.

Third tip. We use incognito mode.
Since 2008, such an opportunity appeared inChrome browser, and from 2019 on YouTube and Google Maps. If you enable the option with one click, it will ensure that the history of the user's internet surfing, watching YouTube videos or searching addresses on maps is kept secret.

Fourth tip. Use the Internet safely with Chrome.
Safe browsing function in automaticmode protects the user from intrusive advertising, when visiting threatening sites or before downloading unsafe files. The service also warns when breaking user passwords.

Fifth tip. To maintain privacy, use the Google Assistant voice assistant.
Using Google Assistant will helpThe user can quickly control privacy settings using voice commands, currently available in English only. At the same time, you can delete all voice search data for a given period, not respond to some phrases that are not related to the issuance of search queries (Okay Google, this is not for your ears). You can also inspect the storage conditions of user data (Okay, Google, how do you store my data?)

Sixth tip. Check privacy settings for apps and devices in use.

Seventh tip. Sort ads distributed by Google
