Sennheiser releases Ambeo Soundbar Plus with 7.1.4 sound
Sennheiser introduced the world's first stand-alone soundbar, the Ambeo Soundbar Plus, which supports sound mode
7.1.4.The soundbar has a total of nine speakers, three of which are forward-facing, two upward-facing speakers aimed at Dolby Atmos and DTS surround sound, two more speakers are installed at the ends, all this is complemented by two upward-facing four-inch woofers. The system can self calibrate to provide virtual speakers around the listener. The manufacturer claims that 7.1.4 sound can be realized without additional cables and satellite speakers. If desired, the user can supplement the system with a 350 W Ambeo Sub wireless subwoofer, which is capable of reproducing bass up to 27 Hz. The novelty is priced at $1,500, and you will have to pay an additional $700 for a subwoofer. The models will go on sale on September 22.
