Segway KickScooter P100S Electric Scooter Announced

Segway has launched Indiegogo and Kickstarter campaigns for its latest KickScooter P100S electric scooter.

Gizmochina.It can be locked and unlocked via Bluetooth, NFC and password. The new electric scooter has a range of 62 miles (about 100 km) and can reach a top speed of 48 km/h thanks to a 650W electric motor. The vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 15 mph in 2.8 seconds and climb grades up to 23%. The electric scooter has a 1086 Wh battery that can be charged via USB-C. According to the manufacturer, a full charge will take 7 hours.

The KickScooter P100S is equipped with 10.5" tires anddouble suspension system. The braking system combines a rear electric brake with two 5.5-inch brake discs. The electric scooter also has turn lights, brake lights and a 10W anti-glare LED headlight. The 33kg scooter can carry a maximum payload of 120kg. The electric scooter is currently priced at $1,599. Indiegogo and Kickstarter campaigns are open to the US and Canada. The Segway KickScooter P100S will subsequently sell for $1,999. First deliveries are expected by October 2022.
