A little over two weeks ago, Samsungbrought to the market a new model of smartphone Galaxy A21s with an Exynos 850 processor. The smartphone is designed for the budget segment and costs no more than 200 euros on the market. Now on the official website of Samsung offers detailed specifications of the new processor.
Exynos 850 proprietary chip created using8-on-process LPP and can be used not only in budget smartphones, but also in other wearable devices and products from the IoT ecosystem (Internet of Things).
Eight Cortex-A55 cores, processors run onfrequency of 2.0 GHz. The graphics are processed by the Mali-G52 processor. Unlike Exynos 980 or Exynos 990 processors, the new Exynos 850 does not have a dedicated NPU for processing data for artificial intelligence.
The new Exynos 850 uses operationalLPDDR4X memory and built-in type eMMC 5.1. There are modules LTE, GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, 2-band Wi-Fi b / g / n / ac, Bluetooth 5.0, FM-radio and ISP. The processor can work with one camera with a resolution of up to 21.7 megapixels, or two cameras with a resolution of 16 and 5 megapixels. There is no built-in 5 G modem in the processor.
