Samsung releases its own third-quarter earnings guidance

Samsung has announced its own earnings forecast for the third quarter of this year. Volume of sales

of the company is declared at the level of 76 trillion South KoreanWon ($54 billion), and consolidated operating income is at the level of 10.8 trillion South Korean won ($7.7 billion). According to South Korea's financial rules, forecast figures reflect a range of possible values. The forecast figures actually reflect the average value of this range. It is noted that third-quarter revenue figures are lower than those of the second quarter, when sales reached 77.2 trillion South Korean won and operating income was 14.1 trillion South Korean won. In the third quarter of last year, Samsung posted sales of KRW 74 trillion and operating income of KRW 15.82 trillion.
