Samsung is the leader of the European smartphone market with a share of 35%

According to research firm Canalys, European smartphone sales in the first quarter of this year

decreased by 10% and amounted to 41.7 million devices.The European market leader is Samsung with a 35% share and sales of 14.6 million devices, followed by Apple with a 21% share and sales of 8.9 million devices, and third place is Xiaomi with a 20% share and shipments of 8.2 million smartphones. The top five European smartphone vendors also include Honor and OPPO brands with 5% and 4% shares and sales of 2.1 million and 1.8 million smartphones, respectively. The decline in sales in Europe was most affected by the results in Ukraine and Russia, where the decline was 51% and 31%, respectively, compared to the first quarter of 2021. Deliveries in the rest of Europe decreased by only 3.5%.
