Samsung, Google and AMD are working on a new chip for flagship smartphones

Samsung, along with the Google Tensor processor development team and graphics design teams

AMD processors will work on the developmenta new chipset for Samsung's flagship Galaxy S-series smartphones. It is expected that the result of this work should be a chip that will be released by 2025. The new chip will contain two high-performance Cortex-X cores, four medium-performance cores, and four power-efficient cores. The processor will also include an AMD GPU to handle graphics-intensive tasks.

Previously, Google and Samsung joined forces inproduction of Google Tensor chips for Pixel series smartphones. It is known that companies are already working on the creation of the third generation of these chips, which will appear in Pixel 8 smartphones next year. Most likely, this new generation of chips will be manufactured using the most modern 3-nm process technology.
