allowing you to evaluate the cameras in different devices. You choose the shots that you like, regardless of the manufacturer's name or model.

In this collection we have collected several generationsCamera modules – 108 megapixels in the S22 Ultra, latest generation in the S23 Ultra (200 megapixels), Fold4 offers a 50 megapixel base camera for flagships. While in the iPhone 14 Pro Max it is a 48 megapixel module. It is impossible to evaluate modules by resolution, it is important to see how automation works out, what exactly it offers us. And here there are several points - for example, in the S23 Ultra and on other Samsung devices, the night mode was turned off, on the iPhone it turned on automatically, and it was impossible to get rid of it. Therefore, the difference in image quality is noticeable, most likely, you will use the "night mode" when shooting. But since we agreed to turn off all the upgrades, we did it.

Let me remind you that from what scenes and pictures wechoose, the final vote depends. If there are more night shots on the iPhone, it will win. More items on the table - S23 Ultra will win. In a word, we get the opportunity to manipulate the data, but here it should be noted that even in theory it is impossible to select a 100% correct set of images, they will always be different. There are a lot of scenes in life, and everyone needs something different, so it’s worth understanding the advantages of specific cameras. The detail on the S23 Ultra is excellent, with a lot more detail than you'd expect from other cameras. And this manifests itself in many situations - and not only when shooting objects, but also in detailing general shots. The iPhone is attracted by the smoothness of the pictures, visual appeal. But there are clearly fewer details in them, which is logical.

As you can see, if we take the average into account, then S23Ultra comes out the winner of this comparison (and the number of first and second places speaks for itself). But I repeat, it all depends on the choice of scenes and photos, I didn’t select them in any way, but made a selection of pictures that were interesting to me and typical for different situations. Separately, we will have a comparison of the iPhone and S23 Ultra, in which we will look at many points that have so far remained out of our field of vision. There will already be not only an automatic shooting mode, which will sharpen the material.

It can be argued that in 2023 there are two flagships that give excellent photo quality: the S23 Ultra, as well as the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
