Simultaneously with the super-flagship Galaxy S21 Ultra(news) Samsung introduced two simpler smartphones. Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 +. The devices are similar. They differ from each other, apparently, only in size. So they will have one news for both.

For starters, prices. They are invigorating.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 is smaller, almost a midget. The screen is a modest 6.2 ″. The Galaxy S21 + has a screen almost like the Ultra, 6.7 ″.
The name of the matrix is ​​the same as that of Ultra - Dynamic AMOLED 2X. But, according to the reviews of those who have seen, it looks a little ... simpler. To say “worse” about a screen of this quality is somehow indecent.
The resolution is the same, 1080 × 2400. This gives 424 ppi for the Galaxy S21 and 393 ppi for the Galaxy S21 +.
The refresh rate, like the Ultra, is up to 120 Hz. But the lower limit with a dynamically changing frequency is different, from 48 Hz, and not from 10 Hz.

The appearance is the same unusual as that of Ultra.The same funny protruding island of cameras. So without a cover - nothing. The colors are curious and quite bright. The body is not glass. Nice but plastic. There is IP68 protection against water and dust.

The chipset is the same as the Ultras.In the States, there will be Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, in our country and in most other countries - the brand new Exynos 2100. Apparently, the reviewers were strictly forbidden to run synthetic tests on pre-production samples. I flipped through a couple of dozen texts and videos - not a single AnTuTu, not a single GeekBench. Nothing at all. But, most likely, that on the fact that on another chipset will be in the region of seven hundred thousand AnTuTu points.

With memory, it's clear. 8 GB of RAM, 128 or 256 GB of storage. There is no memory card support.

The batteries have a capacity of 4000 mAh and 4800 mAh, respectively. Fast, wireless charging - everything is there, of course.

Front camera 10 MP.There are three cameras at the back (12 + 12 + 64 MP - the main module, wide-angle, telephoto). We are waiting for reviews and comparisons. I'd like to understand how newcomers will behave in comparison with devices of the previous generation, i.e. with Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20 +. Because the characteristics of the cameras are too close. As if in general exactly the same optics and the same sensors were taken and installed. But in any case, the hardware is more powerful, and the programmers probably pumped the software properly. We wait. While normal examples of photos and videos, something is not visible.

Other.Modern Wi-Fi version 6 (only Ultra has 6E, there is none). 5G (not available in Russia). USB version 3.2. Of course, there is NFC, a barometer, and other gyroscopes. As usual, there is no normal audio output, but everyone is probably already used to this.
