Samsung introduced a touch screen capable of measuring blood pressure and pulse (2 photos)

At the upcoming Display Technology ShowWeek Samsung will introduce a new product - a Sensor OLED touch screen with functionality for detecting fingerprints and measuring the user's blood pressure and heart rate (HR).

To do this, supersensitive organic photodiodes are built into the screen. Therefore, the vendor does not have to equip smartphones with a separate fingerprint scanner. That is, the screen is the scanner.

But the meaning of the new technology is that, together withfingerprint sensors read the level of pressure and pulse. As noted, to obtain data, it is enough to attach several fingers of one hand to the screen, but for one hundred percent accuracy, you should still measure pressure and heart rate by placing the fingers of both hands alternately.
