According to M.Video-Eldorado, in the first half of this year, the Russian market saw
sold 1.4 million laptops for a total amount of 90 billion rubles, exceeding the figures for the same period a year earlier in unit terms by 10% and by more than 25% in monetary terms. Separately, it is emphasized that the dynamics of sales in the M.Video-Eldorado network itself turned out to be higher than the market one and amounted to 20% in physical terms and 30% in money terms. Analysts note a significantly increased demand for notebooks during the first quarter and a slight decrease in demand in the second quarter of this year. At the same time, sales of laptops from Chinese brands were at the level of last year's figures and in general amounted to 30% of the total sales in the Russian market. The greatest interest among Russians is caused by laptops with screen sizes of 15-16 inches, they accounted for 70% of all sales.
