Russian paper documents will be replaced by the application "Gosdoki"


New government mobile appGosdoki is being developed as part of the Citizen's Digital Profile project, headed by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko. The application will replace numerous paper documents for Russians, including such as TIN, SNILS (insurance number of an individual personal account), OMS (compulsory medical insurance), driver's license and many others.

The Gosdoki mobile application will allow citizensRussia to submit in electronic form up to 30 of the most demanded documents. It is noteworthy that the introduction of "Gosdokov" implies the refusal to print these documents in paper form, which will save on the creation of 5 billion documents per year. In this case, the passport will continue to be issued in paper form.

The first testing of the application can start alreadythis year, and the full implementation of State Documents is scheduled for 2024. The cost of the project is 1.3 billion rubles, of which 400 million will be allocated in 2021. Earlier, the Ministry of Finance has already started working with a project for the issuance of electronic passports. The experiment is being carried out on the territory of Moscow.
