Realme GT Neo - the world's first smartphone on the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chip (4 photos)

Realme company presented at the beginning of Marchflagship smartphone Realme GT, powered by the top-end Snapdragon 888 processor and sold at an affordable price of up to $ 525. Now the company has decided to make the smartphone even more affordable for buyers and has replaced the processor from Qualcomm with MediaTek's top chip - Dimensity 1200. The smartphone is being marketed under the name Realme GT Neo.

Dimensity 1200 octa-core processor,The 6 nm process technology runs on a single 3 GHz ARM Cortex-A78 core, has three ARM Cortex-A78 cores up to 2.6 GHz and four energy-efficient ARM Cortex-A55 cores up to 2 GHz. It also features a powerful ARM Mali-G77 MC9 GPU with HyperEngine 3.0 support for enhanced gaming applications. The performance of the Dimensity 1200 is similar to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870. The Realme GT Neo smartphone will be the first device to receive the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor.

The smartphone has support for networks of the fifthgeneration of 5G, thanks to the integrated modem in Dimensity 1200. The operative memory of the device, depending on the modification, is 6; 8 or 12 GB, and UFS 3.1 permanent memory will be either 128 or 256 GB. Autonomous operation is supported by a 4500mAh battery with 50W fast charging technology.

In addition to 5G, the smartphone has a wirelesscommunication via Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 6 and NFC. The Realme GT Neo model gets an AMOLED display with a diagonal of 6.43 inches, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a FullHD + resolution (2400 × 1080) and a response rate of 360 Hz.

Front selfie camera gets sensorresolution of 16 megapixels. Depending on the configuration, the device will be sold in the version of 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of permanent memory at a price of $ 275, the model with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of permanent memory will be priced at $ 305, and the top-end configuration of 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of permanent memory is estimated at 350 dollars.
