Razer and Fossil unveil the Razer X Fossil Gen 6 smartwatch for gamers (3 photos)

During CES 2022 Las Vegas EventsRazer and Fossil have issued an official press release detailing the specs of the Razer X Fossil Gen 6 smartwatch designed for gamers. The device will be released in a limited edition of 1337 units. Fossil also announced the Skagen Falster Gen 6 smartwatch. Both models are powered by the Snapdragon Wear 4100+ platform and are compatible with Wear OS 3, which will become available with a firmware update.

Razer X Fossil Gen Special Edition Model6 is a modified version of the Fossil Gen 6 smartwatch, which was launched in August 2021. The limited edition features a special 22mm silicone strap, available in the recognizable green or black Razer signature colors. The watch is supported by three dedicated Razer-style dials.

Razer X Fossil Gen 6 watch case as basemodel, made of stainless steel and finished in black. The model gets a 1.28-inch round screen, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of permanent memory. The hardware platform powered by the Snapdragon Wear 4100 processor will provide users with up to 30% faster and faster performance, including faster app load times and responsiveness, and more efficient power consumption. With the introduction of Wear OS 3, the watch will be able to update the operating system.

The Razer X Fossil Gen 6 featureswireless connections using Bluetooth 5.0 LE, Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC SE. There are sensors such as accelerometer, gyroscope, compass, altimeter, PPG heart rate monitor, SpO2, light sensor and infrared port. Fast charging via 4-pin USB port with magnetic washer will provide 80% energy recharge in just 30 minutes. The Razer X Fossil Gen 6 watch, which will be available at the end of January, will be priced at $ 329.

The Skagen Falster Gen 6 watch has a 1.28-inchdisplay, built-in sensors, support for fast charging. The model gets 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. With the introduction of Wear OS 3, the watch will be able to update the operating system. The Skagen Falster Gen 6 on sale at a price of $ 295 starts at the end of January 2022.
