Presented budget RedmiBook 14 Ryzen Edition on AMD processor

Chinese sub-brand Xiaomi Redmi announcedthe start of pre-orders for the RedmiBook 14 Ryzen Edition laptop, equipped with already overclocked AMD processors and compact 14-inch displays with thin frames. The computer case is made of metal, has a simplified design with no frills, and lovers of high-quality sound will be able to use stereo speakers.

Manufacturers have provided two types of equipmentRedmiBook 14 Ryzen Edition Notebook PC. A more powerful computer will receive a Ryzen 7 3700U processor, a Radeon Vega 10 graphics processor and 16 GB of RAM. Cheaper, basic equipment includes the installation of a Ryzen 5 3500U chip (4 cores), a Radeon Vega 8 graphics card and 8 GB DDR4 2400 MHz RAM. The processors are already overclocked, and their performance is increased by 10% compared to the basic version. The volume of the main SSD memory for both laptops is 512 GB.

In both configurations of laptops installed 14inch Full HD monitors having thin frames. The battery provides about 8.5 hours of battery life, and the presence of support for fast charging technology provides a 50% recharge in 35 minutes.

The weight of the laptop is 1.5 kg and the thickness is 17.95 mm. The RedmiBook 14 Ryzen Edition will ship with the installed Windows 10 operating system and the MS Office office application suite. Xiaomi's ecosystem sharing is optimized and faster. The laptop will go on sale from November 1. The package with the Ryzen 5 3500U processor is estimated at $ 466, the price of a laptop with the Ryzen 7 3700U has not yet been announced.
