Porsche unveils Porsche eBike electric bikes starting at € 7,990 (4 photos)

Simultaneously with the presentation of the universaloff-road model of the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo electric crossover, Porsche has unveiled the first branded premium electric bicycles. The renowned car manufacturer now also offers two e-bike models: the Porsche eBike Sport (city bike) and the Porsche eBike Cross (off-road bike).

Both models were developed in collaboration withelectric bike expert by the German company Rotwild and manufactured in Dieburg, Germany. For both models, a Shimano EP8 electric motor was used as the motors, allowing acceleration to a speed of 25 km / h.

Full Suspension Carbon Frame Design (RearFOX DPS shocks and Magura Boltron UpSide Down forks), has a natural shape inspired by the shape of the Porsche Taycan, while the reliable Magura braking system ensures safety and agility while riding. The bikes are equipped with Crank Brothers IODINE 2 wheels (27.5 inches) with built-in speed sensors and 203/180 disc brakes.

The Porsche eBike Sport city model deliverseconomical and long-term operation in standard conditions of a modern metropolis. The e-bike is equipped with a 630 Wh Shimano Intube Battery. The Magura MCI braking system integrated into the Porsche MCI Flatbar steering wheel, as well as a special Magura suspension fork and Fox rear shock will ensure a safe ride. The comfortable ergonomic Ergon SM Mountain Comp seat comes with a Porsche Aero Integrated Taillight seatpost. The Porsche eBike Sport comes on the market in white for 9,990 euros.

Ideal for off-road drivingsecond Porsche Cross, equipped with a 540 Wh Shimano Intube Battery. A safe ride will be provided by the Magura-MT Trail braking system with large heat-resistant brake discs and a special Rotwild B280 AL7075 handlebar. The ergonomic Ergon SM E-Mountain Sport seat comes with a Crankbrothers Highline 3 seatpost. The Porsche eBike Cross will be available in black and retail for € 7,990.
