Porsche is preparing to release an electric version of the Porsche Panamera
According to Porsche CEO Oliver Blume, the company plans to release this year
more than 300,000 vehicles, of which 41,296will be fully electric. At the moment, Porsche offers users only one version of the electric car - the electric Taycan, but it is noted that sales of this model even outpace sales of the classic gasoline version of the Porsche 911. As of the end of the first half of this year, Porsche had already delivered 18,900 Taycan electric cars. To increase its presence in the premium electric vehicle segment, the company is preparing to launch an electric version of the Porsche Panamera. The car should receive the Volkswagen SSP Sport platform, which will place the center of gravity lower and make its habits more sporty. The Porsche Panamera is currently at an early stage of development. When the novelty is ready, it will have to compete with the Mercedes-Benz EQS models. Porsche plans to provide at least 50% of its sales by 2025 through the production of electric vehicles.
