Polar Ignite 3 smartwatch unveiled

Finnish smartwatch manufacturer Polar has launched a new smartwatch called the Polar Ignite 3 on the global market.

reports the portal Gizmochina. The smartwatch has a lot of upgrades over its predecessor, while still weighing the same 21 grams without a bracelet and 35 grams overall. The Ignite 3 is a 43mm smartwatch, however the Ignite 3's larger 1.28-inch display highlights the fact that it has smaller bezels than its predecessor. Polar has also added an AMOLED panel to the new wearable, which should provide a significant aesthetic improvement over the Ignite 2's TFT panel. The Ignite 3's display has a resolution of 416 x 416 pixels, which is roughly double that of its predecessor. The Ignite 3 also includes an ambient light sensor, a more powerful chipset, and about eight times more RAM than the Ignite 2.

The device can track sleep, activity andheart rate. One of the main features of Ignite 3 is sleep-wake analysis, which shows the effect of sleep on energy and wakefulness levels throughout the day. This feature also predicts the optimal sleep time for its wearer. More than 150 sports modes are built into the smartwatch. The device is powered by a 215mAh battery that the company claims can provide up to 120 hours of watch mode, 30 hours of exercise mode, and 100 hours of power-saving workout mode. The Ignite 3 is available now for $329.95 in Purple Dusk, Greige Sand, Night Black, and Brown Copper.
