I really like the idea of existenceparallel universes. Due to recent events in the world related to the CoVID-19 pandemic, I especially often think about how events would develop in a parallel universe without a pandemic, or in a universe in which this pandemic is the fifth in a row and so on. But what I definitely didn’t think about was the parallel universe, in which time goes back. Agree, well, what's the point in the existence of such a universe? However, we sometimes forget that we ourselves give certain events meaning, and the Universe owes us nothing. She doesn’t care what we thought up there, she just exists and can be as crazy and meaningless in our understanding as possible. So, a few years ago, a series of amazing discoveries led physicists to the conclusion that our Universe was born simultaneously with another Universe - which is an exact reflection of ours, but now time in it goes backward. But how is this possible?
Is there a time?
In 2016, two different groups of physicists studiedthe passage of time in the Universe and suggested that the Big Bang, which occurred about 14 billion years ago, in addition to our Universe, could give rise to a mirror universe in which time moves in the opposite direction: backward and not forward. In principle, if you look closely at the mirror universe, you can see that time moves from the future to the past at the same speed. However, from the point of view of this universe, everything would look as if our time is moving backward, not forward. But what do we know about time? Physicists have been struggling for decades over the fact that not one of the fundamental laws of the universe claims that time must necessarily move forward.

In simple words, despite the fact that every moment of time in which we are carried us forward, in fact, time - at least as its laws of physics and equations describe it - anyway which way to move. In 1927, British astrophysicist Arthur Eddington suggested that there is Arrow of time, which acts as a fundamental property of a field of physics called thermodynamics. According to the second law of thermodynamics in any isolated system - such as the Universe - entropy (or clutter) should increase. For this reason - regardless of whether the arrow of time moves backwards or forwards - the Universe will always move to a higher state of entropy.
Entropy describes the physical state of the system - likepressure, temperature and volume. And the laws of thermodynamics determine how heat and energy affect any system. In this case, a system is any limited area in the Universe through which energy can be transmitted.

Pretty soon, this “egg” was broken and mixed up almost beyond recognition, which forced everyone around to come into a chaotic, highly entropic state. The problem with this assumption is that it does not allow the reverse movement of time, which is allowed by the fundamental laws of physics. Thus, it is impossible to collect the broken egg again into a single whole, and the milk that you poured in the morning in coffee cannot be separated from this aromatic drink. But what does it mean?
As the New Scientist writes, we definethe future is the direction of time in which entropy increases. By studying the movement of distant galaxies, we can predict the future development of space. At the same time, we can, as it were, rewind time and get closer to the Big Bang - the moment when the universe had much less entropy. But if you do this, we will inevitably encounter a space puzzle: was the Big Bang really the beginning of time? And if so, why does this event have such low entropy? As you can see, this is a series of incredibly interesting questions, the answers to which scientists have yet to find. But how did physicists conclude that the mirror universe exists?

In this mirror world, everything positive is negative, left is right, and time is running back. In fact, physicists believe that The “other” Universe is created from antimatter and is expanding in the opposite direction (on the timeline) from the point of the Big Bang.
