On sale. Samsung Galaxy A02s - a little expensive for the Snapdragon 450

Formally, the Samsung Galaxy A02s smartphone was announced at the end of November 2020. But then not all of the characteristics were published (and with inaccuracies), and there was no price.

And recently the device went on sale in some large Russian networks:

MegaFone. At the same time, the price was found out.₽10,490 ($ 139) for the only available 3 + 32GB variant. As for me, it's a bit expensive for a low-power smartphone without a fingerprint scanner on a three-year-old chipset. But first things first.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset was announced inmid-2017 and even then it was positioned as a chip for budget devices. The peak of popularity is 2018. The power is just around 90 thousand AnTuTu parrots.

Memory, as I said, is 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of permanent. There is support for memory cards, the tray is separate.

The screen is large, 6.5 ″, PLS-matrix. Resolution, according to updated data, 720 × 1600 (270 ppi). Not high, although it can be worse.

But the battery is fine. 5000 mAh, there is even moderately fast fast charging - 15 W.

The cameras are quite modest. Front camera 5 MP.Behind the trio 13 + 2 + 2 MP (main module, macro, depth sensor). Taking into account the price and low-power hardware, you don't have to expect much from the cameras. Although, of course, we will wait for the first test photos.

No gyroscope, no NFC, no fingerprint scanner, no dual-band Wi-Fi.

In short, everything is sad. Better to look towards Xiaomi Redmi 9 Global. If you take it on AliExpress, it will be even cheaper with incomparably steeper characteristics.
