Old $ 50 graphics card tested on modern games (video)

Long-term shortages and high costspowerful modern graphics cards force enthusiasts to experiment unexpectedly. The author of the YouTube channel Testing Games tested the "ancient" by the standards of computer technology video card GeForce GT 710 when working in nine popular modern gaming applications.

As of today, the GeForce GT 710 video card releasedback in 2014, sold in Russian stores for only 3500 rubles. We tested the possibility of a morally outdated video card working with new applications using the example of nine games in 720p resolution with minimal graphics settings.

The following games were used for the test:Grand Theft Auto 5, Cyberpunk 2077, Forza Horizon 4, Hitman 3, Crysis, Red Dead Redemption 2, PUBG, Mafia Definitive Edition, The Witcher 3. The computer ran on an Intel Core i5-11400F processor.

As a result, the experimenter was able to play onlyin two games: Crysis and GTA 5. The Witcher 3 application was launched, but the gameplay did not allow playing comfortably. Cyberpunk 2077, Forza Horizon 4, Hitman 3, Red Dead Redemption 2, PUBG, and Mafia Definitive Edition proved to be too much for the legacy GeForce GT 710 graphics card.
