Many owners of smartphones with touchscreens actively use the application WhatsApp, But the developers of the messenger did not think this was enough. They have released a new version of the software available to owners of push-button mobile devices. Thus, the possibility of "dialers" significantly expanded.
This version of the messenger was adapted for KaiOS. This OS is usually installed on low-cost button devices and serves as an alternative to Android. Among the supported devices now: Nokia 8110 4G, Cat B35, MTN Smart, JioPhone, JioPhone 2, Doro 7060, Orange Sanza. WhatsApp for them is already available for download in the KaiStore application store.
So that the application is successfully installed and correctlyworked, the amount of RAM device must be at least 256 MB. KaiOS modification supports voice calls, private messaging and group chat, and end-to-end encryption. However, due to the fact that most of the cheap “dialers” do not have a selfie camera, WhatsApp on KaiOS does not support the video call function.
Most likely, in the coming months, all new gadgets running on KaiOS, will begin to sell with a pre-installed WhatsApp.
