Motorola RAZR (2019) clamshell smartphone introduced

Sometimes they come back. Motorola has revived the legendary RAZR flip phone as an emerging Android smartphone. Among the advantages of the RAZR (2019) device, one can distinguish an unusual design, compact size and, most importantly, the lowest price in the segment of a smartphone with a folding screen. The price, however, is impressive for a smartphone, and the market is likely to be limited by Motorola RAZR fans.

The RAZR (2019) case is made in the form factorclamshell, similar to a traditional RAZR phone. The smartphone folds exactly in half, horizontally along the fold line. The OLED screen with a Flex View matrix has a diagonal of 6.21 inches, an aspect ratio of 21 to 9, a resolution of 2142 × 876 and the top is covered with plastic, which additionally protects against splashes.

The side frame acts as a damper and protectsflexible screen. The edges of the frame at the fold are completely covered by a stainless steel frame, which prevents foreign objects and debris from getting inside. At the top of the front surface is a wide neckline with speakers and a selfie camera. A fingerprint sensor is located in the bottom frame.

From the outside of the smartphone posted the second OLEDa screen (800 × 600) with a diagonal of 2.7 inches, designed for operational information about incoming calls, notifications and allowing you to control multimedia. Also, the outdoor display can act as a video finder for the front camera.

The hardware of the smartphone runs on a processorSnapdragon 710 with 8 cores, received 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory. The main camera of 16 megapixels (f / 1.7) supports night shooting, and the front camera received a 5 megapixel sensor.

Autonomous work is provided by rechargeable2510 mAh battery with support for 15 W fast charging technology using a USB Type-C connector. Motorola RAZR (2019) is running Android 9.0 Pie.

Pre-orders for a smartphone in the United States can bewill be issued starting December 26, and Motorola RAZR (2019) will go on sale in January. For other countries, the start date of sales will be announced later.
