New Helio P65 processor developedby MediaTek, will significantly increase the power of mobile gadgets. The use of the Cortex-A75 is a significant improvement over the previously used Cortex-A73 cores in the Helio P60 / P70.

Evaluation of the performance of new chipsetscompared with the previous series is ambiguous. On the one hand, the old processors had 4 high-performance cores, and the Helio P65 has only 2 high-performance cores. However, on the other hand, the Helio P65 uses an ARM Mali-G52 graphics processor with a frequency of 820 MHz, similar to that used in the Kirin 810. It supports displays of formats up to 2520x1080 pixels and hardware decoding of 2K video stream at 30 fps using H.265 (HEVC) and VP9. In addition, the chipset is compatible with LPDDR3 and LPDDR4x RAM up to 8 GB and flash drives of the eMMC 5.1 standard.
