March sales of AvtoVAZ increased by 90%

March sales of AvtoVAZ showed an increase of 89.8% compared to the same

period a year earlier.In March, 23,335 new LADA cars were sold. Looking at the quarter as a whole, sales rose 21.9% to 64,240 new vehicles. LADA Granta is the most popular, 16,254 units of such cars were bought in March, Russians also bought 3,721 Niva Travel cars and 2,703 Niva Legend cars. In February, AvtoVAZ closed a deal to buy the Nissan car plant, and, as reported, the production of Lada will begin at a production site in St. Petersburg in the second half of the year. The estimated volume of production for this year is planned at the level of 10,000 cars. In the second quarter, AvtoVAZ planned to start selling the new generation LADA Vesta.
