IRobot robot vacuum cleaners have learned to clean the floors, communicating with each other

With the development of technology to maintain cleanliness inhouse is becoming easier, but perfection, as you know, there is no limit. Today, robots-vacuuming does not surprise anyone, but the American company iRobot has come up with something to attract the attention of potential buyers. She has released updated models of her robots, Roomba and Braava, which together make the floor in the apartment doubly clean - after the first one cleans the room from dust and debris, the second one starts to wash them thoroughly.

New models of robot vacuum cleaners were namedRoomba s9 + and Braava Jet m6. The communication technology between the two of them is called Imprint Link - thanks to it, a couple of home helpers understand when and where they need their help, and alternately do the cleaning. Thanks to innovations in the design and cleaning system, they are most likely doing so much better than other models.

In the model Roomba s9 +, the company abandonedThe standard round shape of the case - now the front part of the vacuum cleaner is flat, which allows it to closely approach the walls and clean hard-to-reach places. The company says that five brushes effectively collect dirt, but because of the new form, the robot needs to perform more maneuvers - accordingly, the battery will sit down more often.

Robot Braava m6 performs the function of a mop, but inUnlike other models, it does not have a tank with water, but is wielded by a spray and dry pads to absorb moisture. Like the companion vacuum cleaner, it is equipped with 3D sensors that scan obstacles 25 times per second and create a room map.

Of course, “smart” equipment is quite expensive- The cost of Roomba s9 + will be an impressive $ 1299, and Braava m6 will cost $ 499. That's not all, because the second device will need napkins, which are sold in sets of 7 pieces, and cost $ 8.
