According to research firm SensorTower, the total number of mobile app downloads in October in

The top mobile app market in terms of downloads was India, with a 19.8% share and 1.44 billion app downloads. In second place is the United States with a share of 10% and in third place is China, which accounts for 6.7% of downloads. At the same time, data for China relate only to downloads in the Chinese App Store. The October record holder was the Instagram application (owned by Meta, recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation), it was downloaded 67 million times, which is 17.2% more than a year earlier. Thus, he managed to overtake the previous leader in downloads, the TikTok mobile application, which was downloaded 62 million times. The top five downloads also include Facebook applications (owned by Meta, recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation), WhatsApp and CapCut.
