In the second quarter of this year, the Russian smartphone market showed minimal results over the past

five years.In the first half of this year, smartphone sales are estimated at 5.7 million devices for a total of 105 billion rubles. The fall in sales in the second quarter amounted to 30% in unit terms compared with the second quarter of the previous year. Such data is provided by MTS. In the MegaFon network, unit sales decreased by 17%, while Tele2 estimated a 23% decrease in unit sales. It is noted that the current situation with the availability of smartphones and the general economic situation has led to the fact that Chinese smartphone brands provided the bulk of sales. According to various estimates, up to two-thirds of the total sales of smartphones in Russia already come from brands from China.
